Vintage Furnishings Retailer, MoModerne, Opens Doors in City Foundry

MoModerne, a women-owned and operated vintage furnishings retailer, has opened its doors on Foundry Way. The spacious 2,000 square-foot store features exposed brick and pipes, as an industrial backdrop for premier furnishings. MoModerne aims to bridge the gap between utility and style to celebrate buying and restoring second-hand and unique vintage pieces.

MoModerne has been sourcing and restoring one-of-a-kind vintage furniture pieces for over a decade. Its new gallery in City Foundry will feature an expanded collection of furniture, decor, pottery, glassware, and more. Customers can explore offerings in a range of styles, including mid-century modern, art deco, post-modern, contemporary, and more.

MoModerne has historically been a place where our customers could only shop by appointment. Our move to City Foundry STL deconstructs that concept completely. MoModerne is still going to be a carefully curated collection of items, but we made the conscious choice to open our showrooms to the public and introduce more price-conscious items,” explained Anna Weiss, the founder of MoModerne, “City Foundry STL naturally brings that comforting community feel to all the retailers here and we can’t wait to be fully immersed in the space.”
