The Candle Fusion Studio, a personalized and experiential fragrance-forward candle-crafting studio, will open its second location on Wednesday, May 31 on Foundry Way! Candle Fusion will be the 15th retail tenant to join the Midtown community hub of shops, kitchens and entertainment offerings!
Located on the ground floor level, across the walk-way from City Winery, guests will enjoy a customizable shopping experience consisting of creating your own candles and wax tarts to room sprays and Mediterranean spa salts. Starting now, guests can book parties and special events or can walk-in to try the experience at any time during open hours of operation between Tuesday-Sunday.
The immersive scent experience will be open for parties and special event bookings here, while small groups of less than six are welcome to walk-in at anytime. The Candle Fusion Studio’s City Foundry STL location will open its doors on Wednesday, May 31 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., with normal hours of operation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., Thursday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

The Candle Fusion Studio, a locally owned business, launched in December of 2016, with the first location opening in the Central West End, and later moving to their flagship store in St. Charles. The City Foundry STL location marks its second store and the growth of the business as the Midtown location allows for parties, special events and guests of a larger capacity. With floor to ceiling windows, the 2,000 square foot space is lined with amber bottles of fragrance options for guests to choose from. The store will house a lengthy candle-bar making station, along with smaller crafting pods for seating of groups of two or four.

The Candle Fusion Studio allows customers to create custom products, including their popular candle-making experience, along with Mediterranean spa salts, room sprays, body sprays, and wax tarts (ranging from $18 - $25) with over 75 different fragrances to choose from, such as eucalyptus, Georgia peach, teakwood, wasabi, and more. Guests can choose from a variety of fragrances for their candle, with the standard combination being two to four fragrances. The store has 50 standard fragrances year round with 20-25 additional scents that seasonally rotate.
There are over 30 style varieties of candle jars to choose from, along with featured handmade ceramics. Prices for the candle-making experience vary depending on the candle volume and jar, with a standard 8 oz. candle making experience starting at $27. The process takes around 45-60 minutes and the product has to set about 2.5 hours before being taken home for use. The Candle Fusion Studio also has pre-made, single-scented 8 oz. candles and wax tarts for sale, ready to be bought off the shelf, or gift sets for special occasions like baby showers, bridal proposals, school fundraisers, corporate gifts, and more sold here. Candle Fusion at City Foundry STL is open for group booking experiences, such as bachelorette parties, birthday parties, corporate events, and team building experiences. The space can be booked for events with a 50-75 person capacity limit on private parties, depending on the time slot. The store is open to walk-ins or with groups of less than six, no reservation required.
