City Foundry STL Welcomes Wintrmarkt

As the pandemic has made business challenging for retailers, developments and restaurants all over the country City Foundry partnered with Collections by Joya to welcome 25 local small businesses for Wintrmarkt. A a safe, distanced shop and stroll event on Small Business Saturday.

Vendors were spread out along Foundry Way for Wintermarkt.

Shoppers reserved free tickets for hour time slots and were admitted 100 at a time to wander Foundry Way and shop a variety of jewelry, apparel, food and gift items. With more than enough room to socially distance, both customers and participating businesses gave only positive feedback for the event.  Event coordinator and owner of Joya, Betsy Nacarelli shared that “This was far beyond our expectations in sales and safety.  It was a such a wonderful day for businesses and the community to come together.”

After tickets sold out within 48 hours, Collections by Joya chose to extend the event to a second weekend. The event will repeat itself on December 5th when we will welcome a new group of vendors as well as The St. Louis Blues Truck. To add to the celebration 314Together will bring their Keep It Local campaign with giveaways to celebrate local shopping from Anheuser Busch, Purina and Schnucks and a giveback card that support Operation Food Search and drives traffic to local businesses.
